Weekly Wrap-Up August 7th, 2016

It's Sunday which means it's time for yet another weekly wrap-up. Covering the happenings of this past week and at the same time looking forward to the week ahead. So heres what happened.

This past week was probably one of the bigger in my life.  From finally finishing and posting my review of the Sopranos third season, to finishing up The Road, to improving and continuing to tweak LeftyLoggy it was a good week all around. Oh, and that's without even mentioning by far the biggest news, which was me publishing my first guest article over at IrrationalPassions.com. I poured a lot of hard work, hours, and love into the piece, which covers Naughty Dog's masterful work in creating stunning quiet moments. Easily ranking as one of my favorite and proudest written pieces I encourage you all to go check it out and keep your eyes open for any future appearances I may be making over at Irrational Passions.

As for what lays in store for this upcoming week the majority of coverage this week on LeftyLoggy will be dominated by No Man's Sky. From first impressions, to stories from the games many worlds, to my review, No Man's Sky is looking to be the dominant force on the site for the week.

That said, you can also expect to see my review of Suicide Squad going up tomorrow and I'm also experimenting with writing up something regarding The Road and its similarities and differences with The Last of Us, so we'll see what happens with that.

This past week was ultimately one of the most fulfilling and rewarding for me. Writing and getting my Quiet Moments piece published was a huge step in my journey as a writer and critic. I love having these conversations and discussions about games, being able to talk about and share the many things I love and marvel about games and also some of the things I don't. It's an absolute joy and privilege to do so. Anyway until next time, I got a movie to see and some sleep to get,
